Training with the Mini Loops - exercise bands

Loop bands are more versatile than any other piece of fitness equipment. They can be used to warm up for strength training, for strength training itself, for Pilates, yoga, rehab, or even calisthenics. Fitness loops are particularly useful for muscle-specific warm-ups. With the help of rubber bands, you can wonderfully warm up your shoulders and prepare the tendons, ligaments, and muscles themselves for the subsequent strain. Exercises for the entire rotator cuff can be performed – from external to internal rotation. Another not insignificant health benefit is that training with bands does not place as much strain on the joints as with conventional strength training. Many bodyweight exercises can be weighted down by adding resistance. This means that deeper muscles can also be trained. Using an exercise band, you create a stronger training stimulus and increase the repetition range.

If your strength training has become a bit boring lately, an exercise band offers the perfect way to add a little variety to your workout. The most popular exercise with loop bands is probably the side step. Take the exercise band and step through it. Position the loop band above your knees. Now bend your knees slightly and put one leg forward. The standing leg holds your balance and thus creates resistance. Repeat this exercise sequence as many times as you like. Once you have reached your desired number of repetitions, switch sides and train the other leg.
