ATX® Power Bar Black Mamba - Spring Steel + 700 kg - Barbell
ATX® Power Bar Black Mamba. ATX® Power Bars are precision-engineered barbells made from high-quality alloyed special steel/spring steel with a high-end finish. The bars feature extremely high tensile and yield strength combined with elasticity. This allows the bars to be deformed up to a certain tension (elastic limit) and then return elastically to their original state without permanent deformation.
The key to this is the optimal, high-quality alloy of chromium, molybdenum, silicon, and manganese, among others. Whether for weightlifting or powerlifting, ATX® barbells withstand even the most extreme demands and thus meet the highest standards. ATX® barbells are therefore unmatched in this price-performance segment!

The stated maximum load capacity of the barbell is only valid under optimal conditions! During exercises with a wide grip, such as bench press, the theoretically highest load on the barbell is possible. With centralized point-load application, such as in squats, the max. load capacity decreases! Failure to comply with the load limits and areas of application specified in the tables can lead to damage to the barbells! Returns and warranty claims are excluded in this case! Please refer to the table below for the application-related load limits!
Black Oxide
Black oxide is not a coating in the true sense, as no coating material is applied to the metal. The satin black color of the metal is created by a chemical process in which the surface of the steel turns black through chemical oxidation (it does not rub off!). The matte black "finish" provides excellent steel feel but offers only light wear protection; therefore, signs of abrasion are visible after relatively short use. Black oxide is sensitive to rust from moisture and magnesium carbonate. However, the surface can be refreshed quickly and easily like no other, thus creating a natural patina after some time, ensuring the barbell still looks great even after years of intensive use.
ATX® offers first-class, tested, and proven equipment for professional use. ATX® barbells undergo the following material tests in an independent German testing laboratory:
-
Tensile test acc. to DIN EN ISO 6892-1
Tensile test acc. To DIN EN ISO 6892-1
-
Hardness Rockwell acc. to DIN EN ISO 6508-1
Hardness Rockwell acc. DIN EN ISO 6508-1 The barbell has the following values:
-
Tensile strength: 206,000 psi = 206 K (K/KSI = kilopound per square inch)
= / corresponds to 1420 N/mm2
- HRC / Surface hardness: 44.0
