The Concept2 BikeErg exercise bike features the same flywheel and power monitor as the Concept2 RowErg and SkiErg . The bike 's flywheel utilizes air resistance to provide a smooth and quiet ride that responds to your effort. The damper acts as your "gearbox," allowing you to adjust the feel of your ride. Unlike most stationary bikes, the BikeErg has a clutch, so the flywheel continues to spin, just like on a real bicycle, when you stop pedaling.

The high-performance Performance Monitor (PM5) connects via Bluetooth to a variety of apps, including the free ErgData app and third-party apps like Zwift. The BikeErg comes with an integrated smartphone/tablet holder, allowing you to securely store your device. The holder accommodates all devices, from small smartphones to large tablets, and is easily and quickly adjustable. The holder can also be removed, allowing the Performance Monitor to be mounted directly to the end of the handlebar.

Performance Monitor

The Performance Monitor sets the Concept2 BikeErg apart from other devices. It allows you to precisely measure your power output, track your progress, and compare your performance with others. The Performance Monitor displays your power output in terms of speed, 1000m average time, cadence (rpm), watts, or calories during each workout and saves this information either to its internal memory or to an optional USB drive. The BikeErg itself does not require an external power supply. The PM5 requires two D-cell batteries. The rotating fan powers the monitor during your workout to extend battery life.

Get Connected

The BikeErg's PM5 monitor features both Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity, allowing it to connect to a wide range of heart rate monitors, fitness equipment, and apps. The smartphone/tablet holder makes it easy to use a tablet or phone while riding. Our free Concept2 ErgData app helps you track your workouts and syncs with the Concept2 Online Logbook. Third-party apps, such as Zwift, can provide additional features to keep you motivated.

Wind turbine and air flap

The BikeErg is equipped with the same flywheel as the Indoor Rower or SkiErg. Since the air resistance at the flywheel only increases when you exert force, you always maintain control over the intensity. The air damper allows you to regulate the airflow to the flywheel during your workout. The air damper setting on the BikeErg works like the gears on a regular bicycle: a low air damper setting is comparable to a low gear on a bicycle.

Adjustable saddle and handlebars

Both the handlebar and saddle positions are easily adjustable. The saddle height can be adjusted using our secure, tool-free system. The horizontal saddle position and tilt can be individually adjusted. The handlebars are adjustable both vertically and horizontally, offering three different riding positions.

Customize

Prefer to configure your own BikeErg? No problem: Most standard bicycle parts can be easily attached to the BikeErg. This allows you to use your own handlebars, saddle, or pedals.

Belt drive

The BikeErg uses a quiet belt drive instead of a chain. The self-tensioning belts improve durability and reduce maintenance.

Lightweight and handy

The BikeErg's aluminum frame and integrated transport wheels make it both lightweight and easy to handle. Weighing only 26 kg, it is lighter than most exercise bikes.
