The sling trainer / suspension trainer is a versatile fitness tool. The sling trainer enables you to train your whole body. With the help of the slings, you can fix your hands and feet and thus perform exercises in different body positions and grip variations. A sling trainer is particularly suitable for functional training and is therefore often used in functional fitness clubs. The sling trainer is also ideal for training at home in the home gym. The suspension trainer is very compact, easy to transport and can be used flexibly. Take the sling trainer with you in your sports bag, for example, and start your workout outdoors or at another training location.

The chest fly is one of the most popular exercises with the sling trainer. The slings are grasped at shoulder height and the arms are stretched out to the side. The slings are pulled together and then pulled apart again. Repeating the movement trains and strengthens the chest muscles. The chest muscles are also often trained using the classic chest press exercise. Here, the handles of the sling trainer are taken in the hand and push-ups are performed by lowering and raising the body. The further away the feet are positioned from the handles of the sling trainer, the more challenging the exercise is. The atomic push-up should also be mentioned in this context. Here, you hang your feet in the slings and perform the push-up on the palms of your hands.
By lowering the body into a push-up position, the chest, shoulder and arm muscles are trained. Another effective exercise is the Aladin pull-up. Here you hang on to the slings with your hands and pull yourself up. This exercise particularly strengthens the back and arm muscles. Another example of an effective exercise with the sling trainer is the lunge. Here, one foot is placed in a loop while the other foot is on the floor.
