Foam Grip rowing handle narrow 20 cm - inside

The foam grip rowing handle is ideal for close seated rowing or close lat pulldowns . Made entirely from thick-walled steel and covered with a non-slip neoprene coating, this handle is heavy-duty and easy to handle . The perfect ergonomics increase grip strength and muscle contraction. The extended grip fin helps stabilize the wrist axis and thus helps keep the elbows at the correct contraction angle for optimal muscle contraction. The handle is made from 8 mm thick steel and coated with a 3 mm thick layer of neoprene. The mounting hole has a diameter of 18 mm and is compatible with all standard snap hooks with a diameter of 6 - 10 mm. In addition, the coating prevents damage to the paintwork on frames and equipment.

Back training with the rowing handle

With the help of a rowing handle, you can optimally train your latissimus dorsi . It also optimally stimulates the trapezius muscle . Foam grips differ significantly from conventional grips because they are ergonomically adapted to the human body. A common problem with back training is that grip strength weakens before the back muscle is actually trained. This means that the back muscles are not stimulated to their maximum, and the effectiveness of the workout decreases. Thanks to the ergonomic shape of the foam grips, this is now a thing of the past. The optimal fit for the hands ensures that the forearms are relieved and you can better target the back muscles.

The ergonomic narrow rowing handle is perfect for rowing and lat pulldowns using the cable pulley/lat pulldown. Ensure proper exercise form. Pull your elbows past your body in a controlled manner and close to your body – pay attention to your muscle tone.

Why is back training so important?

The back muscles are an integral part of the human torso, and thus, strengthening them through targeted training is essential. They are responsible not only for extending the spine but also for stabilizing the entire upper body. In addition to improving mobility and maintaining a more upright posture, targeted back training is also important for preventing back pain. Poor posture or a lack of muscle strength in the back is a common cause of pain. This can lead to annoying pain after just a short time sitting in an office chair. With various back exercises, you can specifically strengthen your muscles and thus ensure healthy posture. In addition to strengthening the back, it is always important to adequately train its antagonist. In the case of the back, this is the abdominal muscles.

Due to the size and complexity of our backs, it's important to train them with a variety of exercises and different grip variations . For example, overhead pulls primarily target the latissimus dorsi, while front pulls target the trapezius muscles. The strain varies depending on the grip width , whether you grip from above or below, or whether you train unilaterally or bilaterally.
