The AIREX® Balance Pad is a perfect therapy and training device made from the renowned soft AIREX® foam. With its smooth surface, the balance pad is ideal for beginners in barefoot balance training. Its 6 cm thickness provides the desired destabilizing properties. The flexible foam constantly challenges the body to maintain its balance, thus stabilizing the joints. Exercises on this balance pad engage deeper muscles more effectively than exercises performed without it. Training on the balance pad can specifically improve both physical and coordinative abilities such as strength, endurance, and balance.
AIREX® products are designed as movement therapy aids for both institutional and home use. The floor-mounted object serves as a support for a person during medically indicated and prescribed exercises to improve motor skills and balance, postural control, and/or for the movement therapy treatment of muscle weakness in the limbs and trunk resulting from a neurological or orthopedic condition.
