Motion sports was founded in 1989 by former Olympian Wulf Brunner (read the interview with Wulf Brunner) and his wife Sabine Brunner.

Since entering the online retail market in 2017, the family-run business based in Karlsfeld has specialized in offering fitness equipment for both commercial gyms and private individuals and physiotherapy practices. First-class customer service is always at the forefront.

The company originally began as a representative of the Kaiserslautern-based company Dynavit and initially focused on the sale of ergometers for cardio training. The product range expanded in 1992 through the ongoing collaboration with Emotion-Fitness, which also covered the field of physiotherapy. High-quality rowing and cardio equipment from Nohrd were later added to the product range.

In order to cover all areas of training, motion sports decided in 2005 to include the robust and durable products from ATX – then Barbarian Line – in its product range, until 2020 when the high-quality equipment from Stolzenberg was added to further expand the range of physiotherapy services.
