product description

ATX® Power Bar +700kg - spring steel - chrome

The ATX ® Power Bar +700 kg are precisely manufactured barbells with a high-end finish made from high-quality alloyed special steel / spring steel. The bars have an extremely high tensile and compressive strength while being elastic at the same time. This means that the bars can be deformed up to a certain tension (elastic limit) and then elastically return to their original state without permanent deformation. The decisive factor here is the optimal high-quality alloy made of chromium, molybdenum, silicon, manganese, among others. Whether for weight lifting or power lifting, ATX ® barbells withstand even the most extreme requirements and therefore meet the highest demands. The ATX ® barbells are therefore unmatched in this price / performance segment!

Product details of the ATX ® barbell bar

  • Material - special steel according to EN 102775-5
  • Tensile Strength (Tesile Strength): 206000 psi = 206 K (K/KSI = Kilopound per Square inch)
  • abrasion-resistant hard chrome plating
  • extra-grip precision knurling with double grip width marking
  • Mounts Ø 50 mm, rotatable – with maintenance-free precision brass bushings
  • suitable for all standard weight plates with bore Ø 50/51 mm
  • Front sides high-quality encapsulated, with ATX ® color code logo: Blue

hard chrome plating

Hard chrome has the highest wear resistance of all coatings for barbells. When hard chrome plating barbells, extra thick chrome layers are applied directly to the component/metal without an intermediate layer. The hard **extra thick chrome layer is extremely abrasion-resistant, very corrosion-resistant and impact-resistant and therefore offers the highest level of wear protection.

**(approx. 40 times thicker than bright chrome plating, but still extremely thin (15 - 20 µm - (pronounced Mü) 1 µm/micrometer = 0.001 mm!) The color image is matt to slightly shiny.

specifications

  • Total length: 2200 mm
  • Handle inner dimension: 1310 mm
  • Handle diameter: 28.5 mm
  • Weight: 20 KG
  • max. load capacity: 700 KG

The maximum load capacity of the dumbbell specified only applies under optimal conditions! The theoretically highest load on the dumbbell is possible during exercises with a wide grip, such as bench presses. If the load is transferred to the middle at specific points, such as during squats, the maximum load capacity is reduced! If the load limits and areas of application specified in the tables are not observed, the dumbbells may be damaged! Exchanges and guarantees are excluded in this case!

Maximum permissible weight load of the barbell

  • Wide grip width: 700 KG - flat bench press
  • Medium grip width: 600 KG - Deadlift
  • middle/narrow grip width: 500 KG - Squats

application area

  • Fitness: YES
  • Strength training: YES
  • Weightlifting/Powerlifting: YES

ATX ® offers first-class, tested and proven equipment for professional use. The ATX ® barbells undergo the following material tests in an independent German testing laboratory:

  • tensile test according to DIN EN ISO 6892-1
Tensile test acc. To DIN EN ISO 6892-1
  • Hardness Rockwell according to DIN EN ISO 6508-1
Hardness Rockwell acc. DIN EN ISO 6508-1The barbell has the following values:
  • Tensile Strength (Tesile Strength): 206000 psi = 206 K (K/KSI = Kilopound per Square inch)
    = / corresponds to 1420 N/mm2
  • HRC / surface hardness: 44.0

Notice

Contact with/placing on unprotected metal shelves/J-hooks etc. can damage the coating of the rod. We therefore recommend placing it on plastic or rubber-coated shelves.

maintenance / care

As needed, clean/brush occasionally with a nylon brush (**light plastic bristles) - DO NOT use a steel brush - this can lead to reactions and discoloration on the surface!

Tip

For sufficient safety during training, we recommend our 50 mm closures.

You can find matching weights in our 50 mm weight plates .
