The dumbbells are made from individual discs mounted on a solid steel handle. A rubberized steel stop plate, which is screwed to the front of the steel handle with a 14 mm thick steel screw, secures the discs. The steel screw is secured with a threadlocker to prevent loosening. The resulting dumbbell is firmly fixed and cannot be removed.
