The ATX® Power Bar +700 kg are barbell bars precisely manufactured from high-quality alloyed special steel / spring steel with a high-end finish. The bars have extremely high tensile and yield strength combined with elasticity. This allows the bars to be deformed up to a certain tension (elastic limit) before elastically returning to their original state without permanent deformation.
The key to this is the optimal high-quality alloy of, among others, chromium, molybdenum, silicon, and manganese. Whether for weightlifting or powerlifting, ATX® barbells withstand even the most extreme demands and thus meet the highest requirements. ATX® barbells are therefore unmatched in this price/performance segment!
Hard chrome has the highest wear resistance of all coatings for barbell bars. During the hard chrome plating of barbell bars, extra-thick chrome layers are applied directly to the component/metal without an intermediate layer. The hard **extra-thick chrome layer is extremely abrasion-resistant, highly corrosion-resistant, and impact-resistant, thus offering maximum wear protection.
**(approx. 40 times thicker than decorative chrome plating, but still extremely thin (15 - 20 µm (pronounced microns) 1 µm/micrometer = 0.001 mm!) The visual appearance is matte to slightly glossy.
Contact with / storage on unprotected metal racks / J-hooks etc. can damage the coating of the bar. We therefore recommend storage on plastic or rubber-coated racks.
Clean / brush off occasionally as needed with a nylon brush (**light-colored plastic bristles) - DO NOT use a steel brush - this can lead to reactions and discoloration on the surface!
