- Stand upright with the barbell resting on your shoulders.
- Lower your body by pushing your hips back and bending your knees.
- Make sure your knees do not extend beyond your toes.
- Then push yourself back up to return to the starting position.
deadlift
- The dumbbell is on the floor.
- Bend down with your back straight to pick up the dumbbell.
- Lift the dumbbell by pushing yourself up with your legs while keeping your back straight.
- Lower the dumbbell back to the floor in a controlled manner.
bench press
- Lie on a flat bench and grab the barbell with a grip slightly wider than shoulder width
- Lower the dumbbell to your chest and then press it back up
- Keep your lower back flat on the bench and maintain a stable position to prevent back pain

- Stand upright and grab the dumbbell at chest height
- Press the dumbbell over your head until your arms are straight
- Lower the dumbbell back to your chest in a controlled manner
