Sling trainer

The suspension trainer is a versatile fitness tool. It allows for full-body training. Using the slings, you can secure your hands and feet, allowing you to perform exercises in different body positions and with different grip variations. A suspension trainer is particularly well-suited for functional training and is therefore often used in functional fitness clubs. The suspension trainer is also ideal for training at home in your home gym. The suspension trainer is very compact, easy to transport, and versatile. Take the suspension trainer with you in your gym bag, for example, and start your workout outdoors or at another training location.

Sling trainer - exercises

The chest fly is one of the most popular exercises with a suspension trainer. The suspensions are grasped at shoulder height and the arms are extended out to the sides. The suspensions are pulled together and then pulled apart again. Repeating this movement trains and strengthens the chest muscles. The chest muscles are also often trained with the classic chest press exercise. Here, the suspension trainer handles are grasped and push-ups are performed by lowering and raising the body. The further away the feet are positioned from the suspension trainer handles, the more challenging the exercise becomes. The atomic push-up is also worth mentioning in this context. Here, you hook your feet into the suspensions and perform the push-up on your palms.

Lowering the body into a push-up position trains the chest, shoulder, and arm muscles. Another effective exercise is the Aladin pull-up. Here, you hang from the loops with your hands and pull yourself up. This exercise particularly strengthens the back and arm muscles. Another example of an effective exercise with the suspension trainer is the lunge. In this exercise, one foot is placed in a loop while the other foot is on the floor. Bending the front leg strengthens the leg muscles. We recommend the ATX Gym Rings as a suitable accessory for the ATX® suspension trainer.
