This ATX® Shock Absorption Dropping Plate is specifically used where really heavy barbells and weights need to be cushioned/dampened. For the heaviest loads in barbell and dumbbell areas, preferably during weightlifting or kettlebell training, this protective plate serves to cushion the barbell when dropped/placed, thus optimally protecting the equipment and the floor. The underside has a honeycomb-shaped hollow chamber system (Shock Absorption System), which has a strong sound-absorbing and force-reducing effect. Due to the fine embossing of the surface, the plates are very non-slip and thus offer a secure footing. Due to their high dead weight, the plates are extremely non-slip.
