NOHRD's success story began in 1987 with the patent application for the Waterrower system. The vision of the professional rower at the time was to simulate proper rowing on the water in a particularly simple way and thus create optimal training conditions from home or in the gym. For this reason, all WaterRowers are equipped with a water tank that reflects the conditions on the water very realistically. In addition, the drive over water ensures particularly ergonomic and quiet handling. In addition, no settings are required, as the resistance is controlled by the strength used by the person training. The WaterRower therefore adapts seamlessly to the strength level. In 2015, the next milestone was reached with the introduction of the SlimBeam Trainer. The fully movable butterfly enables one-sided and two-sided training - it is height-adjustable and swivels.
