*Blazepod App Information: Access to the BASIC app version is free. With every Blazepod kit purchased, you receive six months of free access to the PRO app version. After the six-month period, PRO access costs €16.99 per month or €169.99 per year.
The BlazePod App works primarily with visual feedback through the illuminated Pods as well as with direct performance feedback in the app, for example regarding reaction times, hits, and training results. Depending on the exercise, acoustic signals via smartphone or tablet are also available – for example, in the integrated Beep Test in the form of signal tones and voice announcements.
The free BlazePod Go version already includes the essential functions such as live feedback, personal evaluations, benchmarks, and statistics. The Pro version extends these functions primarily with more detailed analytics, athlete management, leaderboards, and performance tests. The manufacturer currently does not specify a separate difference in acoustic signals between Go and Pro.
The Pods themselves are primarily designed as a visual reaction system; additional audio outputs are provided – if provided by the respective activity – via the connected device.
