Note

The bare, uncoated steel handle of this kettlebell may develop slight surface oxidation when exposed to moisture (hand perspiration, ambient humidity). This does not constitute a product defect. As a tip, we recommend simply polishing the handle with some steel wool if needed; this will restore the handle's bare surface.

Competition Kettlebells

A kettlebell, also known as a cannonball with a handle, is a versatile training tool. Kettlebell training aims to intensely develop explosive power, strength, and functionality. The numerous kettlebell exercises can be adapted to all fitness levels and are suitable for both home and gym workouts.

When you decide to buy a kettlebell, you have a choice of different weights and sizes. Once in your hands, there are countless exercises you can perform with the kettlebell. The kettlebell swing and the goblet squat are just two examples of the many great exercises you can do with a kettlebell.

Kettlebell Training and Exercises

The kettlebell swing is one of the fundamental and most frequently performed exercises with a kettlebell. It is a hip-hinge movement that trains the muscles in the back, glutes, legs, and core. To perform the kettlebell swing, stand with slightly bent knees and a neutral spine position behind the kettlebell. Grip the kettlebell with both hands and lift it off the floor. From here, swing the kettlebell forward with extended arms. At the highest point of the swing, let the kettlebell fall back between your legs. Repeat this movement as many times as desired. Pay attention to a straight back and clean execution!

The goblet squat is another effective exercise. The focus here is on building thigh muscles and the core. To perform the goblet squat correctly, hold the kettlebell by the handles in front of your chest. Slowly go into a squat and briefly hold the position. Keep your back straight and your chest out. Push through your heels to return to the starting position. Perform this movement as many times as desired.

You can individually adjust the intensity of the kettlebell exercises by changing the weight.
