This ATX® Shock Absorption Dropping Plate is used specifically where really heavy dumbbells and weights need to be absorbed/damped. For the heaviest loads in the dumbbell and barbell area, preferably during weight lifting or kettlebell training, this protective plate is used to cushion the dumbbell when it is dropped/put down in order to optimally protect the equipment and the surface. The underside has a honeycomb-shaped hollow chamber system (shock absorption system), which has a strong sound-insulating and force-absorbing effect. The fine embossing of the surface makes the plates very slip-resistant and thus offers a secure footing. The high weight of the plates makes them extremely slip-resistant.
