The handles have extra-grip knurling, are excellently balanced and therefore sit perfectly and securely in the hand . With a lat pull-down bar you can train your back using different grip options. Depending on whether you pull the bar in front of or behind your body, you can vary the intensity/effect and muscle contraction of the exercise and train different muscle groups. With a wide grip you concentrate on the outer latissimus , while a narrow grip trains the inner muscle groups of the latissimus. With a length of 120 cm, the ATX® Black Line lat pull-down bar is particularly suitable for training the broad back muscles.

As with any exercise, correct execution is crucial to achieve maximum muscle contraction and growth. Sit on a lat pulldown machine and secure your thighs under the leg pads. Keep your back straight, pull your shoulders back, and tense your body. Pull the lat pulldown bar slowly and in a controlled manner towards your chest by pulling your shoulder blades together. Hold this position for a short time and then let the lat pulldown bar return to the starting position in a controlled manner. Make sure that you perform the movement in a controlled and even manner. Perform the movement sequence approximately 8 to 12 times. If you can do more than 12 repetitions without any problems, we recommend increasing the weight.
